President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed Onyeka Onwenu as the Executive Director of the National Centre for Women Development (NCWD), Abuja. The appointment of Onwenu, who is fondly called the “Elegant Stallion”was contained in a letter signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim.
Many still recall that Onyeka Onwenu was one of those who entertained at the official declaration of Dr Goodluck Jonathan’s intention to run for presidency years ago where she performed the special song “Run Jonathan, Run“.
